About the Artist

Born and raised in Northern New Jersey, I designed and manufactured textiles for the New York garment industry for thirty years. Painting became my interest when I was fifty years old. I am self-taught and create contemporary pieces using oils or acrylics, both of which afford me unlimited pleasure. Since 1999, I’ve been inspired by painters such as Gerhard Richter and Jonas Gerard. When not in the studio, I enjoy spending time with my wife, two daughters, a son in law and 3 grandchildren,  who love being creative as well.
